We are so excited to share with you about our upcoming Racial Justice Week sponsored by the Western Field that will take place June 2-9, 2024. Our theme is “Welcome the Stranger” and we will be looking at the intersection of racial justice and immigration justice. Even though we are surrounded by people who have immigrated to the United States, we are often separated from their stories and lived experiences.

Racial Justice Week will bring us into conversations about immigration through events together on Zoom and through resources to implement in your communities. Our online gatherings will include worship on June 2nd and June 9th, as well as Immigration Story Sharing in Partnership with CLUE Justice in Orange County on June 4th. Additional resources will be provided for intergenerational Sunday School plans, prayer march and public witness event guides and content, and suggestions for partner organizations.

We have included promotional materials, including social media images and a flyer for congregations to print and distribute. We also created a link for people to sign-up for emails about Racial Justice Week Daily invitations to draw us deeper into our topic will be sent through this email list, as well.
