Palm Sunday Art Exhibit

  • Grateful Gardens 990 Meridian Avenue San Jose, CA, 95126 United States (map)

Jim Marshall, in his role as "Pastor Jim" has developed a self-guided art exhibit of Mary Button's collage series, Stations of the Cross: Refugee Journeys in observance of Palm Sunday. Stations of the Cross is a Catholic ritual that is practiced during the season of Lent (40 days before Easter Sunday.) We adapt it to draw connections between the society where Jesus was a refugee, and the society we live in today. Please come check it out, and invite your friends!

The program for the day is:

11:00 a.m., Community of Christ Palm Sunday worship service, with Open Communion, meaning all are invited to join.
12:00 - 3:30 p.m. Art exhibit is set up at the Grateful Gardens Labyrinth
