Friends,
It is time once again to do the work of the Sierra Pacific Mission Center. Our theme this year: “God, Where Is Your Spirit Leading Us Next?” will guide us into a posture of dreaming. This holy work will take place against a lovely natural backdrop provided by Happy Valley Conference Center (2159 Branciforte Dr, Santa Cruz, CA 95065). Together we will re-connect with old friends, establish new connections, and learn about the exciting current and future possibilities before us.
I hope you will make plans to join us as we discuss the business and mission of Sierra Pacific as a community.

COVID-19 TESTING
Community of Christ’s Enduring Principle honors the worth of all persons. This takes into consideration the body and spirit of all people. There are a number of reasons that the Mission center President Team has made the decision to require COVID testing for people who will be attending Mission Center Conference. We have enough vulnerable people who will be in attendance that having a testing requirement will show our beloved members on this community that we want to do what we can to keep them safe.
There are two possible ways for you to test: One, you can test before you get in the car to come to MC Conference and take a picture of your negative test for our nurse. Or, two, you can test at HVCC before you unload for the weekend. We will have tests available to you.
Day visitors will have to test when they arrive on Saturday.
We understand that some people will be frustrated by this decision. Please know we do not take it lightly and we, again, want to create a safe environment for our beloved participants.
